Ghee Chicken Curry

Garlic - 6 to 8 cloves
Tomatoes - 2 chopped finelycook until mushy
Chicken - 1/2 kgmix wellmarinate30 minmix wellcook10 min
Yogurt / Curd - 1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Onion - 2 large sliced thinlysaute till golden
Green Chillies - 2 slit
Salt to taste
Ghee - 1/4 cupheat ghee
Curry leaves - 2 sprig
Garam Masala Powder - 1.5 tblsp

Ingredients

  • Ghee - 1/4 cup
  • Chicken - 1/2 kg
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Yogurt / Curd - 1/2 cup
  • Onion - 2 large sliced thinly
  • Green Chillies - 2 slit
  • Curry leaves - 2 sprig
  • Tomatoes - 2 chopped finely
  • Tamarind pulp - 1 tblsp
  • Water as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1.5 tblsp
  • Coriander leaves a handful finely chopped
  • Kashmiri Chilli Powder - 2 tblsp
  • Coriander Powder - 2 tblsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder - 2 tsp
  • Garlic - 6 to 8 cloves

Steps

  1. 1Take chicken, yogurt, salt and turmeric powder in a bowl and mix well. Set aside for 30 mins.
  2. 2Take spice powders in a dry pan and toast for 2 to 3 mins. Take it in a blender and add garlic. Grind to a smooth puree.
  3. 3Heat ghee in a pan, add in curry leaves.
  4. 4Add onions, chillies and salt and saute till golden.
  5. 5Add in chicken and mix well. Cook for 10 mins.
  6. 6Add in tomatoes and cook till mushy.
  7. 7Now add in the ground masala, tamarind and water and mix well. Cook for 10 to 15 mins.
  8. 8Add garam masala powder and mix well.
  9. 9Cook till oil separates from the curry.
  10. 10Add in coriander leavers and mix well.
  11. 11Serve
